The ‘Digisprong’ vision paper meant a big step forward for digitisation in Flemish education. Although the government ensured a significant expansion of ICT resources, schools still feel that they are not sufficiently supported in the integration of ICT in education. Schools are positive about the digitisation policy, but there are also bottlenecks, such as limited freedom of expenditure, insufficient digital competences among teachers and a lack of pedagogical-didactic support.
