182nd Book - Part III: Budgetary policy of the federal State

In its 182nd Book – Part III, the Belgian Court of Audit compared the federal government's 2024 budgetary objectives with the results. The budget balance on an ESA basis of the federal government is slightly more positive than estimated in the initial budget. The realised revenue is lower than estimated but is largely compensated by lower realised expenditure. Finally, the federal government transferred a large part of its total revenue to other authorities.
