The Belgian Court of Audit has sent its 181st Book - Part II: Social Security Report 2024 to the Chamber of Representatives. In the first part, it examined the financial and budgetary situation of the social security in 2023. In 2023, revenue amounted to 131,870.6 million euros (i.e. 9,17 % more than in 2022) and expenditure to 130.930,2 million euros (+7,71%). In the second part of the Book, the Court of Audit reported on the audit of the accounts of public social security institutions (PSSI). These audits and their results are part of preparing the certification of the PSSIs annual accounts by the Court of Audit.
